You have never seen a video camera on a copy stand to shoot artwork or photos for use on video? That's a copy camera. I've never heard it called anything BUT a copy camera! Have you always just used a scanner for that function? Come on, I'm not THAT old!

not really. a regular video camera on a tripod and the photo on the wall has always worked for me. :-) my background is in print, multimedia and web design rather than video, which i only started working seriously with 5 years ago, so scanners have been part of my world just as long as video cameras, if not longer.
